Purpose and scope
Purpose:
- to support dissemination and use of IMK/IAA-generated MIPAS data and to strengthen co-operation;
- to communicate scientific progress as well as problems and solutions w.r.t. IMK/IAA-processed MIPAS data;
- to give data producers feedback from data users;
- to ensure correct use of diagnostic data in scientific applications;
Planned:
- Talks on data and diagnostics by retrieval scientists.
- Short informal non-glossy presentations on ongoing or planned scientific studies based on IMK-IAA generated MIPAS data by data users.
- formal matters (data protocol etc).

Discussion of the operational ESA level-2 product will be beyond the scope of this meeting.
